Friday Five: songs

Apr 12, 2019 19:18

1. What are the five oldest songs on your iPod, computer, or phone (whatever device you store your music on)?
When I transfered all my music over onto this laptop, it reset the added on dates to that day. So, I'll have to fire up my old laptop, which I've been meaning to do anyway.

2. And the five newest songs?
1. "Vogue" - Madonna
2. I added the CD Delta by Mumford and Sons, as well as a bunch of songs from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack on Dec. 18th.
3. "(Everything I do) I Do it For You" - Bryan Adams
4. A bunch of songs from The Essential Billy Joel on Oct. 27th
5. Josh Groban's Bridges and Annie Lennox's Medusa on Oct. 21st.
I don't usually do whole albums like that, but I'd recently discovered Zia Records, and Delta had recently been released.

3. What’s your favorite song to sing along to?
I swear I was thinking about this the other day, singing along with the radio in the car. I forget the song though. Might have been Bohemian Rhapsody but I think it was something else. I like songs with harmony or that I can try to harmonize with.

4. What’s the first song you ever memorized?
I have no idea. Could have been Jesus Loves Me or something else from church.

5. What song is your current earworm?
Whatever I last heard or thought about tends to get stuck in my head. sewcutementioned The Flame by Cheap Trick, and that was it for a while. Now it's Vogue.
