I want to go back!

I want to go back to England! I keep planning another trip in my mind. Who knows if I'd be able to go again next summer, but I want to. When I hear names of places I've been to on the podcasts I listen to, it makes me long to go even more.

What if you did something like teaching abroad for a year?

I'd have to start looking into it. My old roommate went to an American school in London. I don't feel like I could teach in a British school without being totally out of place. We saw lots of school groups on field trips though, and they seemed like good kids.

Well you would be out of place, but I'm sure you'd adjust quickly there's also American schools on base in Germany, it's not that far to England!

I feel you - Mom and I are really going to try to get to London next summer, after years of talking about it.

If my mom didn't walk even slower than my friend I actually went with, I'd see if she wanted to go with me. Actually, that might not be a problem except in London.

Have you been to London before? It is AMAZING.

Yeah, London requires a lot of walking! My mom's not the speedwalker she once was, but she wants to go even more than I do.

I've been to London a few times, but it's been a decade and a half since I've gotten across the pond. I'll love to walk around the 14th century part of Westminster Abbey again (and also just wander around central London) and my mom wants to see Churchill's War Rooms. What about you?

I'd like to properly see Buckingham palace. We drove by it on the bus. Maybe tour houses of parliament. We saw a ton but still not enough or not thoroughly enough. The tower of London we probably did the best coverage, then St. Pauls. I need to see it all again! Then there is the rest of the country...I want to go to Haworth again. Places we didnt have time for include Manchester, Liverpool, and the south coast.
