Sometimes you just find the stupidest things amusing.

So we're now studying poetry in French class and whose poet's name do I see but an Alphonse de Lamartine? My reaction was slow in that at first, I thought the name was familiar but it was definitely not because I knew of the poet beforehand- and then it clicked. It's none other than armoralchemist's most beloved Alphonse! Les choses simples amusent les esprits simples...?

And now for my planet meme and Hanadan2 thoughts...

You Should Rule Saturn

Saturn is a mysterious planet that can rarely be seen with the naked eye.

You are perfect to rule Saturn because like its rings, you don't always follow the rules of nature.
And like Saturn, to really be able to understand you, someone delve beyond your appearance.

You are not an easy person to befriend. However, once you enter a friendship, you'll be a friend for life.
You think slowly but deeply. You only gain great understanding after a situation has past.
What Planet Should You Rule?

Quite amusing and ironic in a way- for I have a newfound love for Saturn now thanks to Hanadan. After seeing that they actually sell the Saturn necklace in a hilarious interview with Mao-chan, I have a great urge to get it, but of all the ones I've seen online, they're all so expensive! The TBS ishop is selling for 38000yen! @_@; Well, I guess I could go for Makino's outfits instead. I love that hat she wore in NY! But what I need first is a Doumyouji... Yes, that would surely solve all my problems. xD 道明寺!!!!!

Doumyouji amazes me to no end. It's certainly not because of his superb Japanese intellectual skills, but can someone really love someone else to his extent? ありえなーいーつーの! It's much too surreal but surreal as it is, this is why I love him to bits. Surely there is someone like him in this world...?? Though it seems quite dismal knowing that 40% of marriages end up in a divorce nowadays. But then of course, such a thing cannot ever happen to my beloved Doumyouji and Makino! At least let me believe in my dream world that such a person like Doumyouji can exist... In which when Doumyouji says he loves you, that he will follow you to hell and back, you won't have to waste your breath retorting back: "until when?" / "for how long"? One wouldn't have to think "I wonder how long we'll last..." Now wouldn't that make life grand? *is cynical*

It's episode 10 already!! Time sure passes by fast. Too fast. Why can't they have extended the number of episodes of hanadan instead of having to squeeze everything into 11 episodes?! And to think that at first I was misled into thinking there were 15 episodes, then it turned to 11 episodes with the last one being a 2-hour special, and now- it shrank into a 1-hour special. *drowns in disappointment and frustration* I fail to see how it is humanly possible to squeeze the amnesia arc, snow arc, the prom and maybe the bus scene into a mere 1 hour that can amount to anything satisfying.

And I personally hated the amnesia arc. This hatred is reinforced especially by seeing MG2- oh how I regret wasting hours watching that! It kills me that they're wasting one whole episode on it when the time could have been better spent on other plotlines/scenes. (I would've so loved to see the scene where Doumyouji showed Hanazawa Rui the cookies Makino made and Hanazawa Rui just ate it. xD!! One of my most beloved scenes in MG1!!) =_=; Not to mention that I really like Toda Erika and to have her act as the hated Umi is just... blah. But I can't say that I didn't immensely enjoy the hilarious scenes that are Makino trying to revive Doumyouji's memory. xD

Hanazawa Rui was so lovable in this episode! I like how he is so blunt about his feelings and just told Umi point blank that she gets on his nerves and would like her to disappear. Go Hanazawa Rui!

As for Doumyouji... he didn't even hit his head on the rock!! =_=; But I guess hitting one's head on the ground could still give one amnesia... Though somehow I thought that scene was quite silly and would've liked to see the stabbing done instead. xD Meh, the great Doumyouji falling into a coma just like is so demeaning of Doumyouji's image/physique! =_=; I think Matsujun has done a superb job on portraying Doumyouji though♥ (Which once again, had the Jun-bait effect on me and so I'm catching up with Arashi news again. Absolutely love Nino's "Konseki" song- talented Nino!)

And now Tsukushi. Much love for Inoue Mao♥ She's wonderful as Tsukushi and in interviews, you really see how she's very down to earth and doesn't give the air of a glamourous, famous actress at all. I would so love to meet her in person...

To which I weep for not being able to be an extra for the prom scene.... meh. I could've so gone with Emily-san if I were in Japan! It's not because I want to be on screen but I love knowing the things behind-the-scenes, the inner workings! To actually see how hanadan is being filmed and of course, see Makino and F4 in real life! Gyah.

Thanks to Flavour of Life and how hanadan has been playing the song a couple times after someone says "arigatou", I think it's become a kind of stimulus for me now. x__X; I now mentally play the song in my mind whenever I hear "arigatou"; it's become such a senstive word. @_@;;

Episode 11 next week... I hope they can really wrap things up without it feeling rushed- which I highly doubt they can with so much yet to cover. =_=; At first I was hoping that they'd do a special of the snow arc and maybe even fly over to Vancouver to film it (and why not? Hanadan is such a cash cow, surely they have the money- they had the money for the NY arc...) but seeing as that hope is now shattered into a billion tiny pieces... well, I'm still hoping they'll do some kind of special, even if it's not in Vancouver. =_=; At least there is some hope for it since Matsujun is keen on a sequel, though I doubt we'd have it for there aren't that many plotlines left in the manga to base an entire sequel on, so hanadan3 might just be overdoing it a bit (as much as I wouldn't mind having a hanadan3 though...). So what better than to have a 2-hour special to fully wrap things up?! *crosses fingers* C'mon Matsujun! Use your Doumyouji power and make them do a special!

The above shows how much hanadan has been occupying my mind. o.o; I believe I can make a dissertation out of this... now if only I can type with such fluency for my 3 upcoming essays. ... そんなことあるわけないでしょう! *drowns in dispair* This reminds me... how long has it been since we've last seen Makino going to school, much less studying?! Heh.

One of my favourite Doumyouji lines:

Doumyouji:「・・・牧野。お前、イチジク食ったことあるか?」
Makino:「

♥♥♥♥♥ Much love!
