Alright, I decided that I would start off my bb creams reviews right away, with the bb cream that top my list so far. Just in case you girls have no idea what types/brands of bb creams I've tried till date, please visit the following link, pictures of the bb creams will also be available there.
http://ringo-seijin.livejournal.com/64670.html So, as stated in the title, my number 1 favourite BB cream has to be this.
Product Name: Dr Jart+ Rejuvenating Silver Label BB Cream, SPF 35/PA+++
Price: $32 for 50ml at Watsons
Coverage: Medium to Full. Great pore coverage, covers slight redness (discolorations) rather well, conceals undereye circles decently. For obvious blemishes, I would still have to rely on concealors.
Shade/Undertone: Comes only in 1 shade. More towards a grey undertone, should suit both yellow and pink undertones. This shade suits me well, though it felt kind of too greyishly dark upon dabbing it on, but it kinda blends well into my skin and fits my skin tone perfectly. I'm rather fair, so it might be a little too light for medium-tan skinned girls.
Texture: Neither too thick or too watery. (but more watery if compared to others like Skinfood Aloe and BRTC Multiplex). Very easy to spread and blend.
Fragrance: I would say it has no obvious fragrance at all. But I did notice a strange 'rubbery' smell when i first dab the cream on my face. But this smell is quick to dissipate as I spread the cream onto my skin.
Finish: A mixture between matte and dewy finish.
Comments: First I have to say that this bb cream takes a bit longer to set as compared to the others I've tried. I have a habit of patting my face lightly after blending the bb cream in, and some of the cream always ended up drying on my hands. Also notice that I didn't make any comments on oil control, even though the silver label is supposed to be meant for oily-skin. I have hideously oily skin, which will start to oil up just 1 hour after cleansing my face. So to be fair, I've decided that I won't comment on the oil control of any bb creams, unless it is obviously horrible. My face turned as oily as any other day during mid-day when I was using this bb cream and of course I had to blot my face. A good thing I've noticed is that none of the cream (or pehaps just a minute, negligible amount) appeared on my blotting paper. After using it continuously for 1 week straight, it miraculously cleared up most of the small bumpy blemishes that has been lining my jawlines since forever. But also do note that I've also been using GOLD Cacao Pack diligently during that time for nearly a month already, so it might be a combined effect of both products.
