I HAVE AN EDITOR!!
well its finally happened i'm getting published wooohoooo. i met this woman upstate and she's totally awesome. She's got this insane underground newspaper type thing because its rather radical and the newspaper being as conservative and closeminded as it is didn't want to publish it saying she'd stir up trouble. So she made her own newspaper and her and a few other dudes put it out once a month. FIGHT THE MAN YAY! She talked about how horrendous it is that all these old buildings are being torn down to be replaced with such useless and sometimes enviromentally damaging things like parking lots or chemical plants. But i wrote an articel about a mansion my grandmother's father used to work on and how it was torn down, and went into a whole thing about immigrants coming from nothing and making something for themselves and their families and now their children and grandchildren are just destroying everything they worked for. Needless to say she looooved me and went on and on about how they needed a younger voice. I"M THE YOUNG VOICE! YAY! i'm also working on a piece for her about an old railroad bridge they want to tear down upstate. Its not much but it is a start. She's gonna contact me about me giving the rights to the article to the paper within the week. I"m ecstatic.
