i don't know how to structure this but it's going to be long, it's going to be informative and it's going to be full of exclamation points.

woke up at 6 and felt sick because of the excitement. showered and waited a little for caitlin to come pick me up. then we left around 7:15ish. got on the road and headed to north hampton, got there really easily. got there around 9. so we got in line and weren't very far back...after we got there, it was long. so we waited an hour will 10 for the gates to open. the venue was wierd. there was like..one stage near the entracne, the ernie ball stage. and some merch tents. and then there were some more gates that went into the main...area, where the main stages were. so we waited for another hour in the midst of 2390483 people, till 11:00 when they opened those gates. we went in and directly to the schedule and wrote down times. mxpx were the first band i wanted to see and weren't supposed to play till later so we went around the merch tents.
ps. it had downpoured yesterday morning so the ground in the entire venue was pure mud.
we were approaching the skeleton crew tent and i look and saw that my frankie face was working. i gasped dramatically and grabbed caitlin by the shoulders, shaking her, "FRAAAAAANK" i was like...i can't meet him. i didn't know what to say. so i just went up and bought a shirt from him and asked him if they ran small because...it's a hoodie but a tshirt at the same time..it's weird. and he was like actually..they run big. so he gave me a small..which was cool. and i asked him to sign it and he did. i love that guy more than life itself.
after that i called bianca to tell her i had met jade's husband and we both squealed. she was stuck in traffic the whole time and didn't get there till like..2 something. it was lame. but i got to see her..more on that later.
then we were walking around and mxpx weren't supposed to be playing yet or i read the schedule wrong but i heard mxpx playing on one of the main stages and was like HOLY SHIT! so i grabbed caitlin's hand and dragged her to the second row. it wasn't really crowded or rough which is cool so we just danced. they played "my life story" "chick magnet" "tomorrow's another day" "responsibility" and "punk rawk show" and a few more that i didn't know.
after they finished, we jetted over to the next stage and watched starting line. they were so good. despite all the shit i've said about kenny's brown hair, he's still really fucking hot. it was a little more crowded and rough for tsl but it was fun. we were close to the stage but far to the right side. but we could see them okay. they played "best of me" "surprise surprise" "bedroom talk" "given the chance" "leaving" "ready" and maybe "making love to the camera". some guy from hot rod circuit came out to sing with them when they played "ready" and it sounded soooo good.
when they were done, we zoomed over back to the other stage for mest. the crowd was not rough and the mud was getting more watery from everyone walking around on it. we were pretty close again and i think they were the most fun. we just danced. in the mud. i can't describe it any better than that. it was awesome. people started throwing mud at tony and he was like, go ahead, i really don't care, so they kept going, but he couldn't play so they stopped and switched songs so he wouldn't have to play. which was awesome because they switched to "cadillac". other songs they played were "hotel room" "rooftops" "until i met you" "fuck the greyhound bus" "fuct up kid" and maybe "opinions". i love mest a lot more than i did before yesterday.
after mest was atreyu but we got out so we could get water. i didn't really want to be in the crowd for them because i knew they would be kinda rough. but we listened to them from the back. they opened with "bleeding mascara" and that was awesome. then they played a few songs i didn't know. and then they played "right side of the bed" and then last they played "lip gloss and black" and there was a circle pit around the sound tent and i'm glad to say it was the first circle pit i took part in. it was so much fucking fun.
sometime around here i ran to see casey for a minute.
the next band we wanted to see was big d and they were playing at the enrie ball but i had seen like 3 different times they were playing, the earliest being 2:10. so we went over at 2:10 and they weren't playing till 2:30. paramore was playing on the girly stage and they sucked. then they came out and were AWESOME. the crowd was insane. we moved over to the side-ish. they played "are you just scared?" "my girlfriend's on drugs" "great song" "those kids suck" "little bitch" "checklist" "LAX" and "you're lost, you're crazy". "those kids suck" made my entire day and totally made up for them not playing "you're me now"
i think there was a little time between big d and senses fail and then we went to watch sf. the crowd for them SUUUUUUCKED hardcore. you couldn't even see them. it was awful. they played alright, i guess. i'm just not that much of a fan of them as i used to be. they played "steven" "lady in a blue dress" "cute when you scream" "handguns and second chances" "buried a lie" "bite to break skin" "187" and "rum is for drinking not burning" mmmwhatever.
then avenged sevenfold played. we only stayed for one song because i had to see my zackyhead. and i did. and i orgasmed. the end.
then we went walking around and hanging out. around this time i met up with bianca. and i hugged her hard because i love her a lot. i bought her a a7x shirt because she's too shy. it's cute. then we had to make a really hard decision. whether or not to go see motion city or dropkick murphys. i made the painstaking decision to see dkm instead since mcs are coming back in the fall anyways with fob and P!ATD!!!!
dropkick murphys were FANTASTIC!! they layed a bunch of songs i knew. they opened with "your spirits alive" and then "sunshine highway" "citizen CIA" "amazing grace" "barroom hero" and another one i know but don't know the name of. we danced and OIed till our little kind of irish hearts couldn't OI no more.
then was fall out boy. oh fall out boy. i don't know what to say. i love these boys so much but they just got too popular too fast and i hate that. the crowd sucked. i had to get out because a crowdsurfer landed on my head and it really hurt. bianca saw smith setting up for the transplants so she flipped out and went to try and talk to him or something. she got some cute pictures of him though. caitlin saw some kids she knew from school and talked to them. fall out boy played mediocrely. beside senses fail, i was most disappointed in their performance. they played "our lawyer made us change the name of this song so we wouldn't get sued" "dance dance" "sugar we're going down" "nobody puts baby in the corner" "i slept with someone in fall out boy and all i got was this stupid song written about me" "tell that mick he just made my list of things to do today" "grand theft autumn" and "saturday" they didn't play anything that would make up for the fact that they didn't play chicago or grenade jumper. so me and fall out boy are in a fight.
after fall out boy we had a long time to wait till my chemical romance. so we walked around. bought some shit. saw some people. after a while, we decided to go to the stage for my chem. we were walking past mest's tent and nick was there and he was trying to like...non chalantly pee in this buckety thing. i was like...oh nick gigler peeing...nice. and then he was with his brother and he was like flapping...it...around so i saw nick gigler's willy. i went over to him and was like...excuse me, but i just saw your cock. and he was like, yea..it's big, isn't it? and said yea..no. and he laughed. we highfived and i shook jeremiah's hand. me and nick and his brother and caitlin all talked for a bit about random things like livejournal, tour, the bled, my chemical romance's mediocrecy and "i forgot the offspring were on this tour" then we had to go watch my chemical romance. on the way there, mike golla from starting line was just walking so i told him they played really well. he was like....thanks. baha.
we stood in the kind of backish because we couldn't really get any closer. there were A LOT of people for them. they came out and gerard looked fantastic and frankie was wearing a tie and that just....owned. gerard was a little bitch. i kind of wanted to slap him, but i always want to slap him so whatever. his voice is so sexy live. they played a bunch "i'm not okay" "our lady of sorrows" "give 'em hell, kid" "to the end" "you know what they do to guys like us in prison" "thank you for the venom" "cemetary drive" and "helena". during helena, there was this really cute kid next to me and we started singing together and i threw my arm around his shoulder and caitlin joined us and we were all just singing together and it was one of my favorite times for yesterday at all..the last song of the whole day and everyone was just so happy. it was bittersweet. BAHAH.
after my chem, we went to leave since everything was over. it was dark and crowded and we got to the car fairly quickly and since we got there early, we got out easily and were out seriously in 5 minutes. i talked to bianca when we were almost home, in woodstock and she was still stuck in the parking lot, near the a7x bus and she could see syn gates hanging out in there. which is cool.
well...now that i got all that out, i don't know how to conclude this. all in all...best warped i've been to so far and this was my 5th one. caitlin and i have vowed to go together again next year. besides casey, she was the best person i've gone with. good bands, good music, good fans, good crowds...sometimes, good everything. the soreness that's taking over my is so incredibly worth it. it was the best i've felt after any warped tour i've goen to so that's a plus as well. i love it. i love music. i love my friends. i just...yesterday was awesome and that's all i can say.
