scanlating

i re-read a oneshot in japanese that i had read a few months ago, and realized i can rad it WAY easier now. so i started scanlating it to esperanto. it has a english translation but it clearly wasn't written by a native english speaker and i'm not sure they understood all the japanese anyway.

there's been two problems so far, and it's just the usual "words and phrases that i can't find in any dictionary". the problem is when they use a phrase that makes no literal sense whatsoever and i can't find the meaning of it anywhere. or when they use some kind of slang and again i can't find it anywhere except for in a REALLY bad dictionary that i don't trust to begin with.

i need to start writing fanfic again... i tried out a bunch of the 2016 summer anime series, one is great ("sakamoto-kun") and another is watchable - not fantastic, but really good fanfic material (steampunk zombies).

also we went to town (uppsala) today and guess what, they're gonna have goats fenced-in near the hospital in summer now!! they're not there yet, but *o*. anyway, as people are always bragging about how uppsala is the fourth biggest "city" in sweden, introducing goats to town isn't exactly the way to get other countries to think it's a real city...
