dream
in my dream, joltkun and i were visiting iceland by way of a virtual reality machine, except we were in fact "really" visiting and could even touch and buy products. it was sunny, and for some reason all the shops were open-air so they essentially had missing walls. the first one we went into was just selling a bunch of wide strips of furs and some odd cape-vest things, but they were expensive and joltkun was saying "well someday we'll have the money to visit for real and buy these things".
in the next one we went into, a shopkeeper who had gotten into a pyramid scheme was trying to sell us sport yoghurt, which he or his assistant had somehow accidentally ordered 70-90 cartons of, except as it was part of the pyramid scheme they were just assuming they had ordered wrong. he was talking about how he couldn't believe how other people could sell so much of it that they would assume his mistake wasn't a mistake.
at one point for some reason there was a sudden crowd in the store, i think we managed to take care of some potential violence. there were two girls there who were (long story short) making fun of me for no reason, so i pushed my way through the crowd to them, then saw nakano from kyou kara ore wa walking around in his school sports clothes (long-sleeved red jogging jacket etc) to the left outside the shop. so, ignoring the girls and very excited, i ran up to him, clasped him by the arms and said "you're the one i like the most!". of course he looked at me like i was crazy and then i left.
joltkun and i also found out that if you got a paid account at a certain website, it meant you automatically had a hotel to go to in real life when you needed it. the rooms were sort of like jail cells (bed + TV + coat-stand thing, bars on one side for a well) but it would still mean a free night's stay, and your room was "reserved" so it was really like an extra public bedroom. but, the problem would be then, how to teleport ourselves to this place, and joltkun didn't want to do it because it was in some really poor european country (though the building looked fine and clean and it was from a big website).
