The CW has permanently collared Ringer.
The network has picked up the dual-identity thriller starring former Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar for a full season.
The drama, which launched a week before the Big Four networks kicked off their fall seasons, opened to the 2.8 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic - the CW’s largest audience in its Tuesday at 9 p.m. slot in three years. The series, with 90210's opener, also was the net’s most-watched Tuesday in two years.
