Let me explain my reasoning here perhaps more in depth. There appears to be a circulated fear that Malik has...shall we say...lost rather much of himself lately. Three entities, at least count. (Am I correct?) He seems to have quite a fascinating ability to be perfectly honest. *smirk* I'm quite unsurprised that chaos seems to center around the most desirable plot of psychic real estate in the region, so I don't see prescisely what all this fuss is about, but...
Shall we say that Malik gives off an aura that would set off my ring? with or without an item? His very blood seems to be infused with all forms of magic and odd ends, which makes his target, naturally, to predators in that same regard. He's...a receptacle. A medium, if you will. the contrast to this being Rishid, who appears to function as a ward. (Most perceptive of him. *nods in grudging respect*)
In my former life I would have been exceptionally pleased to get my hands on him, but ah...well... *he's in a terribly good mood*
Contrast to both of these, the state of his created substance: Marik. A former entity of rage, if I remember correctly, who often claims to still have ties with his host's emotional...attuning, so to speak.
However, more importantly, he has a personality now capable of more than simply attributes of rage. In other words, he appears to be materializing both soul and personality. Rather like...a starfish.
I rather hate starfish, truth be told. They are vile creatuers, but they possess an ability--when torn to pieces, they regenerate anew.
*smiles evillly* Now then...The question would be, rather...does Malik likewise regenerate traits of his former entities, and could Marik create an entity himself?
...*snorts* Honestly...am I the only one around here who isn't a total wanker with half a brain? I'm amazed all this has somehow escaped notice.
