I wonder why they don't have Mark B. Lee anymore (who I incidentally noticed walking around at DragonCon in Atlanta last September)? Though I doubt anyone's complaining that Mark Ferguson is doing it again. ;)
Marc B. not only backed out of RingCon, but FedCon as well which he moderated for about 12 years (or more), and nobody knows why. Neither he nor the organizers gave any explanations. :( Maybe he was tired of all the criticism against him, or of travelling twice a year to Germany, or there was stuff going on behind the scene we don't know of. At least RingCon has a wonderful new host, whereas FedCon is still in search of an adequate successor. (Last year's MC was awful.)
Btw, you know that Sean Maher will attend FedCon, do you?!? ;D
Huh, interesting. I didn't have time to follow the news in detail last year, so all I heard was that Mark Ferguson
No I didn't! Very cool! Won't do me any good, of course, as I'll be on the other side of the Atlantic, but I've met him twice now so I can't be too disappointed. I'm sure he'll charm all FedCon goers! :)
