"Brimstone" by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
I just finished reading a book called "Brimstone" by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I must say I have never read such a book. It was breathtaking, the script was brilliant, action fast and main charas just the best. This book is so full of subtexts and cute hints that I was squealing almost on every page XD (especially when the main character was taking his clothes off XD~ )
Generally it's about FBI agent Pendergast and sergeant D'Agosta. They try to solve a difficult case (they are always difficult, aren't they? xD). Apparently a devil is killing people, but don't be deceived it's not a fantasy book or anything, it's a really great criminal novel. (I suck at reviews so I stop here XD)
To better understand the characters it's best to read all the books (9 so far, "Brimstone" is 5th I suppose), but it's not necessary. (The first book I read was the last of the "Diogenes series" which is the 7th story, then I read the second and than first... XD). I still need to read the 3th and 4th book, but I don't have them yet, they are like white crows in Poland x_x very hard to find, but I finally found them at an online bookstore and ordered just now <3 Can't wait to have them in my hands *_* (pity that those two are from a different publisher... I really don't know why... and the covers don't match :( )
Anyway I very much recommend this book to all of you ^_^
