Before the start of last season's NFL season, the New England Patriots released some dude who went to the Buffalo Bills. The result: The Bills crushed the Patriots in week 1. Everybody said that the Patriots were done, but you know what? The went on to beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII in February. You're thinking 'so what?' Well, check this out: The Miami Dolphins, America's Other Team (the Yankees are the other other team) had a horrible offseason. First, there was the Dan "The Man" Marino ordeal where Marino was given power in the organization (he was just a figure head, people speculated), and thus 13 days later Marino resigned. Then Ricky Williams retired so he could go smoke pot. And then Miami's big Offseason pick-up, Wide Receiver David Boston got hurt and he's out for the season.
Normally, you'd think the Dolphins would be finished... BUT THEY'RE NOT!!! The Dolphins will rally behind Jay Fiedler (man I HATE typing that) and Miami will rally against all the bad things that have happened to them this offseason. So, I'm changing my Super Bowl XXXIX pick:
Miami 45, Seattle 0.
