Highlight of my day? I was serenaded by puppets!

I went downtown today with dynastessa. Our goal? To hang out and take some photographs. While walking down Queen St, we encountered a round structure, sorta like a large oil drum covered almost entirely in something that looked like burlap, with a puppet poking out.

The puppet (a Wrinkles dog - come on eighties children, you remember them don't you?) asked dynastessa and I if we'd like him to perform a song for us. Of course we said yes! We were instructed to each choose a word and he'd make up a song for us. I chose the word "summer" and this was the song he made up for me:

Made up on the spot... and it rhymes! And I love that he worked in a melanoma reference there. XD

Then it was dynastessa's turn. She chose "the environment" and this was the song he made up for her.

... yes, a little boy decided to join the fun. No comment. >_> But the busker/performer fellow took it in stride and dealt with it very well I thought and actually worked it into the performance. When he'd finished dynastessa's song, I tossed all the change I had in my pockets (sadly, something like a grand total of 35 cents) into his little bucket for donations. I wish I'd had more to give him, I'd have tossed him a five or something - but that was all the cash I had on me. XD

All in all? The whole thing was just neat!
