Hm. Haven't updated in a while. Been having a bit of a Crohn's flare up, I wonder if it has anything to do with allergies. Tried a couple of different changes in my diet, and it seems that a cup of peppermint tea in the morning is helping significantly. I tried it for a few days and it helped, I stopped for a few days and didn't feel well, and then I just started it up again last night and it already seems to be working. Maybe it's just in my head, but apparently there are a couple of articles that say peppermint can help IBS symptoms as well as Crohn's symptoms. Funny how a cheap-o box of 0 calorie tea helps more than the handfuls of prescription drugs I've taken. I'm not a huge fan of tea, but if it helps I'll just get used to it. I've been considering going to a chinese-type doctor and going the "natural route" so I can get off of the immunosuppressant, I'm just not sure where to find one. (An interesting interview about treatments for Crohn's.)

I finished my first knit sweater! It looks really pretty and fits quite nice. I should probably block it at some point, but seeing as the weather has been warmer, that can wait a while. Yey! I'll have to post pictures when I con my sister into taking them.
I've started crocheting an awesome dress and summer hat (the hat has a matching bag I'll start soonish). The stores were out of the hot pink yarn I needed to continue the dress *pout* plus there's something wrong with the pattern, so it won't get done as quickly as I had hoped. I was totally speeding along there at first! If I had the yarn and the pattern was right I could probably finish it in another 4 or 5 days. I'll probably end up improvising on the pattern instead of waiting for the magazine people to get back to me (I emailed them about the errors).

And now I'm distracted by my "hat" which looks like a neat basket/bowl at this point... *tear* it's growing up so fast! Just yesterday it was a twinkle in my eye.
