I have a home...ish
1) I have found a place to live. It is close to work. $100 more a month than I want to spend. It's not super cute or anything special. There is no loft. Just space for myself and the kitties.
One of which I might accidently forget to bring with me, as he is being a destructive little punk. *growl*
2) We had a Halloween Party at Garrett's last night. With yummy dinner, Bananas Foster, and pumpkin carving. My pumpkin looked like it had down syndrome. And I made about three dozen cupcakes for five people. Needless to say, there are left overs.
3) I managed to break the laptop now as well. The wireless card is currently being held in place with a rubberband and hope. I should not be allowed near a computer ever again. My OWN computer appears to need a new motherboard, but the resident computer guru reccomends just replacing it since mine is a shit anyway and he can move all my data and video card and such for me.
Starting anew pleases me, but the cost? Not so much.
4) Moving is expensive. There are things I do not have that I am going to need a the new place. A chair for my computer desk. A vacuume. New winter-y clothes. Money which I do not have at present. And will not have, what with Flan and Christmas coming up.
5) Flan. I am still planning to attend. I have yet to purchase my plane ticket though. But I've looked at prices and they seem to be coming down. *crosses fingers*
6) I am also crossing my fingers that as life is calming down, my fandom love will return. Because I can't seem to bring myself to write anything, or even get excited for Flan. It'll be a whole 'nother story once I get there, I'm sure...but right now.. eh.
7) I have a second date! Time and date not determined yet...but there will be one. I was shocked. I was not expecting her to want one.
8) HAMPTON!
9) Work is fantastic. It's busy, but not too busy. It's fun sometimes and never hard. I get a raise in 2 or 3 weeks. $17/hour.
10) I miss Firefly and The Inside and The Office. I want to watch my downloads and I can't because they are on the broken computer far, far away in a storage unit.
11) I apologize profusely for the boringness of this post.
