Where am I?
First order of business, all of you need to go to bradcpu and download the River!Vid he made for me, called Breathe Me. It's... moving in the best sense of the word.
My life is made of sleepy. I'm starting to lose track of things.
On Wednesday, I got home from work and saw the garbage can was open and still out by the street. I walked all the way down the driveway, flipped the lid back on, and then walked all the way back to the house without it.
My roommate watched the whole thing from the kitchen window, and had a giggle-fit when I finally came inside.
Work was insanely busy, and all I wanted to do was sleep. I've been fighting off a migraine all day and I think I'm on the verge of losing the battle. *cringe*
On the plus side, I discovered that my laptop at work plays DVDs, and I just so happened to have Firefly with me (because I'd leant it to a co-worker) and so I popped it in to see if it would work. I then sat one of the doctors down and made him watch the opening of Serenity, Part One, and he was enthralled.
*cheers self for another convert* Buying a loaner set was the best idea ever. I couldn't not with the current prices over at Amazon. (Firefly is still on the top 25!)
My muse is being quite finicky these days and I want her to stop. I have an idea for a Jayne/Inara series (for which I blame ana_grrl entirely), but I haven't figured out the format of how I want to write it. I'm leaning towards using a prompt table, but I neither no how or where to procure one. Any ideas?
I've been sadly quiet on the Fandom front, I know. I blame life for not understanding the importance of fandom. Seriously.
I have been alive and kicking however. I've got a few dozen drabbles to post here, someday. I redesigned aliaspiral's LJ, and I like to think it's my best yet. *LOVES SUMMER* I've also, kept busy at ff_roundrobin, and you should all go join. It's fun.
And in an effort to maybe get some actually writing done:
