Firefly's Most Unlikely Romances
So I was pondering on the drive home what the least-likely pairings on Serenity would be. Sad to say, River/Simon did not fall into the top three. How twisted is that? I left Book of the list, cause he's squicky with everyone, and the list is Het, because I don't see Zoe hooking up with any of the girls and I can't imagine Jayne letting anyone pitch to him.
1. Zoe/Simon On what planet would he ever be man enough for her? She would so break him.
2. Inara/Jayne They say opposites attract...but that's a stretch, even for these two.
3. River/Wash Wash is the sweetest man alive, I don't think he could ever bring himself to violate River, even if she had the good sense to want him to.
Now, that said... I want some Z/S, I/J or R/W fic people! Make the strangeness happen!
