Huh, never mind, apparently I mis-remembered my one government class (...in high school). I always thought they were different (that's what you get when you get old, a brain with the retention of swiss cheese).

As far as the health care debate, I love how CNN is now running stories about how it might just not be an economically feasible bill, and, oh, yeah, that 'all children are covered today' isn't really true, because no one read the bloody bill and that's not what it says (though they're trying to 'fix' that). I really wonder what other 'surprises' lurk in that 2,700 page monstrosity.

...though if this were a communist country, you certainly wouldn't get to own a house, which I haven't seen or heard anything about? How is that going?

Thank you for asking politely - you don't know how hard it's been to keep from going, "PHOTOS! I WANNA SEE PHOTOS!" I love houses, and seeing new layouts and designs! That's a part of house-hunting I liked, getting to look at all those different houses. The buying? Not a much fun. And it's not like you can really window-shop for houses... :/

But I don't wanna push, because buying a house and moving is stressful. But when you have time, know you have an eager audience!

I'll be moving the 1st of April but probably won't be moving in until the second week of April. BUT! I promise photos!! At some point, anyways. ;)

Oh, good, I hadn't heard anything (since the Carrying of the Giant Check), and, you know, worried about asking a little. Things do go wrong (I know someone who recently had several attempts to buy a house fall through).

Good luck moving! I'd totally help if I wasn't, oh 1,500 miles away. ...really, of course I would! ;)

Everything went so smoothly and quickly, it was a little mind boggling.

The current owner isn't a really nice person so we're going to do a "cleansing ceremony" to encourage her bad mojo to leave (if she leaves any of it in the house, that is).

Aw, that is so sweet. I'm going to be having an entourage helping me move, which will be a first. Usually, it's just me and my dad, heh. :)
