Modest mouse
Saw Modest Mouse last night. Mimicking Birds would have been great had I gone to see them and if I wanted a nap, otherwise not so much. Japanese Motors was good, except I was concerned the lead singer was actually having seizures instead of singing.
My only annoyance with Modest Mouse is that, after Japanese Motors, they made us weight a whopping 30 minutes before getting started at 10:05 pm. Unacceptable, thank you. They did rock the house, though.
If you are ever in the bay area, take a trip to see the fox theater; it's absolutely gorgeous. We were up in the mez and the seats had enough leg room for 5'10" me! Take that, Warfield!
Had great vegan pizza beforehand. VEGAN PIZZA FOR THE WIN.
Didn't get home until 1 am on a Monday. Luckily, my boss was okay with me coming in at 10 so I got a couple extra hours of sleepatude. The dogs were pissed, though, for abandulating them at such an ungodly hour.
