I'm in Stuttgart now.
The last 30 hours were just to.. adventurous? I've now spent the first night and the first day in Stuttgart and already a lot has happened. Maybe I'll write about it when I'm less tired.
So, today, after sleeping in, having a breakfast (miso-soup) I left my dorm to buy groceries. I got the basics I need for having breakfast and dinner, but nothing special yet as I'll leave for Austria on Sunday. I cannot even buy eggs, because there were no 6-egg packages, only 10-egg packages and I won't eat so many eggs in just a few days.
At around 3pm I finished with everything and sat down on my net book, just browsing the net a little and talking to some friends back home.
I talked to a fellow student because we're going together to the first appointment tomorrow morning when he asked if I had time. So we met up and went downtown to meet other students. In the end we were 10 students out of the 15 students of the region around Dusseldorf who are supposed to show up tomorrow. That was actually quite fun :D
But we are only four girls. One who seems to be quite nice, one who I already now and one who seems to be a little bit annoying. She's more than a little showy.
Today my parents sent me a package with stuff I still need. As I only have this dorm room for three month, I suppose I'll ask some of the students who'll have their room for all three years if they can keep some of my stuff. They won't be living in Stuttgart during that time anyway, so it's not taking away any of their living space.
Tomorrow's the first day and I actually bought a nice outfit I wanted to wear. Now after talking with everybody else what they'll be wearing.. I feel a little bit overdressed. Too bad about that wonderful blouse and skirt ._.; I think I'll be more casual tomorrow.. still making a picture with the more formal clothes XD
I still have to get used to living in a dorm, but I think I'll get around to it sometime. Tomorrow morning I'll meet three other students at 7:30am and together we'll go by car. I'm rea~lly happy a fellow student who is also from Dortmund (!!) wants to go home at least once a month ^__^ which means I'll have the chance to go home before Christmas!
