movie review! huzzah!
So I just got done watching Adventureland with J. Honestly, the movie is way deeper and way darker than the tv ads portray. Most of the adults are corrupt and it shows navagating life after high school is rough. It takes place in 1985, so lots of copious amount of sex, drugs, and alcohol. But it definitely goes A LOT deeper. It is not like Nick and Norah or Superbad (although there are a few connections to that movie). Its definitely more adult. I also totally now understand why its rated R. In Canada.
And holllllllly toledo Ryan Renolds in that movie. I cannot believe what he did. Its skeezy but sort of hot but WRONG. *flails*
And the apartment at the end of the movie ... its an apartment I always wanted to move to. Deep in the city and with brick walls and surrounded by places open late (that are NOT a Timmies) and it made me chest hurt so much, just watching it because it makes me yearn even more in wanting to move out. :( *flail* *FLAIL*
Alright, thats enough out of me tonight. Off to drink my mead (Woo Dionysos!), surf the internet, and download Supernatural episodes.
