Hi! My name is Laura. In the past, I've also been called Rin by some. This is a long post, but please read it carefully! ♥
I was a very active fangirl in the J&A fandom around 2008-2015, until other things in my life whisked me away. In June 2023 I, drunk with a serious doze of nostalgia, logged in on LJ and Twitter to see what my old favorite idols are doing these days. It appears they are doing great, which is such a relief and a joy!
The old favorites? Those would be SixTONES, Kis-My-Ft2, A.B.C-Z and NEWS.

Back in the beginning of the 2010s I loved to write fanfiction. During these past ten years I have waded through several fandoms from kpop to NHL and Harry Potter to MCU, and kept writing all the time. However, I have rarely managed to finish and post any of those fics.
I have grown to absolutely love long fics - I'm talking like "word count 50k or preferably more" kind of fics here - and I've really been wanting to write fics like that, too. The thing is, it's taken me all these eight years to realize that even with the proper medication, my ADHD ass just cannot sit down and stay interested in such long stories long enough for me to actually finish them. Whenever I have a great fic idea, I eagerly start writing, write a beginning of about 11k, and then lose the interest when I should move on from the first scene to the actual plot.
So. This summer I've immersed myself into the sweet, colorful world of jpop again, starting to accept that I will never be one of those authors who can consistently write longer fics, haha. So, shorter things it is. For the fics, my AO3 archive is the most up-to-date place. I also have an LJ fic journal at tokyoskater, in which I posted all my fics from 2010 to 2014.
This personal journal is set visible for friends only, but there is nothing to be read anyway as I've last updated in 2015, and I don't really plan to start updating with personal stuff again.
