I have eaten so much chocolate the past three days it's insane!! We had an NCT reunion on friday so all of the couples we did our antenatal classes with came over. So there were 5 couples (6 including us) and their babies all packed into our living room. It was great to see everyone and we provided some food as well but people brought round loads of brownies and chocolate and cake which they then left behind! Not that I'm complaining TOO much mind you but I'd really like to be able to resist and yet I am stupidly incapable of doing so!

We've put up our christmas tree which is really exciting :D and a few other decorations as well but not a massive amount. Now that I have a whole house to do however I want I have no IDEA what I want! I'm sort of muddling along as best I can and hoping that everything looks okay. Bearing in mind that anything I do now with the intention of carrying on needs to be curious small child friendly. So the nativity scene with a very eatable baby jeebus is on the mantelpiece, the glass (yes glass I did NOT think that one through when I saw bright shiny colours) baubles are being hung around the fireplace but out of reach...and will possible be behind a babygate anyway cos you know FIRE and everything. Not too sure what we'll be doing with the tree and decorations, might have to use the ploy my parents did and put it up on christmas eve and tell Beth that santa brought it with him. But I LOVE having the tree up throughout december...and more importantly watching the presents pile up underneath it :D.

Went to norwich on saturday and went round some crafty fairs with my mum and my sister. Mum bought Sara some chainmail earrings shaped like christmas trees...actually that sounds really awful but the rings were all brightly coloured and they looked really really cool, made me wish I hadn't let my ears heal up. That was so Sara had some "christmas finery" to wear for the last day of school and to compensate she bought me a "happy nearly christmas" present to which was an awesome raccoon wooly hat!!.....again that also sounds awful but it's awesome. It's a wooly hat with a raccoon face on it and ears and a wooly pompom tail :D. We're going to another craft market thing on the 11th as well which is in suffolk...actually I need to look up where that is and see how long it's going to take to drive there. I don't mind driving to norfolk and back in a day but with beth it starts to be a bit of a mission especially as I'm still breast feeding and that can really sap your energy. The past couple of times I've nearly needed to pull over at a petrol station because I was worried I was too tired but fortunately it's not quite come to that.

My parents have finally decided what they want to be called as grandparents, my dad was perfectly happy with grandad I think but I made the mistake before Beth was born saying that Tom's parents joked that they wanted to be Grimble and Grumble and then that was all mum could think of. She said Gran didn't feel right and she really doesn't like Nana, and all of my other suggestions sort of fell flat. They then found out what the Omanis call their grandparents...so they are now Babu and Bebe. Which is going to take a bit of adjusting to especially as we've been calling Beth bebe, but still it's unique and will definitely differentiate between the sets of grandparents.

Right off to bed goes I. Hope all is well with all of you!
