and calm

Hey guys sorry the last few posts have been really angsty and angry and raaarrrr it's been a bit hectic the past few weeks as the deadline for me finishing work looms ever closer and my to do list seems to grow longer...and yet shorter at the same time. It's not helped by the fact that I'm now really uncomfortable and would rather just be lolloping at home than sat in the office and my usual tolerance for how my bosses do things has just flown out of the window and for the past three weeks despite being huge and exhausted I've been working 6 days a week.

Anyway, not much is happening really, I'm just scrambling to make sure everything at work that I need to have done/set in motion/have plans for has been done and Tom's working his arse off at the house to make sure that it's all ready for when Rom arrives. We got the pram travel system and cot the other day which was quite exciting :D. We put the pram together and Tom took it for a test drive round the living room complete with car zooming noises. We got a car seat and carry cot with it as well, the carry cot makes me laugh though because it is rather unfortunately shaped....like a coffin, and is black. The pram though!! Bloody hell it's like a tank!!! Does fold down quite easily though, here's hoping I don't have a cesearean or else I'm never gonna be able to lift the thing into the car...although if I have one of those I'm not allowed to drive for 6 weeks anyway so no problem there!

Rom's room/nursery is so very nearly finished. It's painted and the carpet's back down, Tom's just giving it a good cleaning though because the kids who were in the house last time managed to get so much crap trodden into it! Not that Rom's probably gonna be any different but it's nice to at least start off with a clean canvas! We just then need to move the chest of drawers in, put up the cot and sort out the multitude of baby clothes and stuff that people have given us that we've had neither time nor space to put anywhere or even look at. I also have lots of plans for little crafty projects to make to decorate the room...however that relies on actually being able to unpack stuff. Which we can't until we can start moving things into the office...which we can't do until we've moved everything out of the office into Rom's room where it belongs.

Man do I actually talk about anything else other than Rom or how work is winding me up at the moment? Really sorry guys hopefully I shall become more interesting after she's popped out. The due date is looming rather closely now and I have to admit I am bloody terrified! Crossing my fingers that she's actually quite small and it's mainly fluid in the bump!
