okay, my ideas. I'm going to ask DJ if she has ideas too.

Where OLT was is the First Congregational Church in Oakland, and they would charge a reasonable rate and be very amenable to the idea.

Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church at 1329 Seventh Avenue, between Irving and Judah streets in San Francisco. The Seventh Avenue Performances happen there because it's so cool and renaissance looking. I don't know how big it is, though. It may only accomodate a small number.

Grace Cathedral is awesome. They're big I don't know about space rental. It's worth an ask.

There's a concert series that happens called Old First Concerts at a church near the theater district in SF. It's known for it's acoustics. 1751 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 |Their website is http://www.oldfirstconcerts.org

Another good one might be St Ignatius Church, 650 Parker at Fulton, San Francisco which is part of USF.

Getting off the church vein, there's the Herbst Theatre, Van Ness/McAllister, San Francisco. A website describing that space is http://www.performances.org/theaters/herbst.asp

Looking at other places where concerts happen, there's the First Congregational Church, Dana/Durant, Berkeley or the St Mark's Lutheran Church, 1101 O'Farrell, San Francisco

okay must go to bed now. Yes, I'm excited too!
