Only 1 job today...
wow... I'm beat.
I only work weathershield tonight so now I am done for today... I only worked 4 hours at weathershield. It went by pretty fast. I got put on some lame-ass job blowing dust off sand-blasted parts. I was thinking this sucks but as I looked around I noticed every job there is a lame ass job...
I didn't mind it though... glory is on my lap now... she'ss acting lonely.
one guy, named fred worked along with me. He was only there two weeks now.. Jim has been there four weeks so he seemed to know about some of the parts. Jim walked over started asking like kind of a hard-ass but I think he's just playing his edge on me. Soon as I learn everything I don't think he'll be giving me any grief.
I have made pretty good friends with another new guy who was hired with me. David works in my department but i haven't really worked with him yet. Today we sat together for break. She's gotta drive from Ingram.
The heal of my sock has a hole in it so I am developing a blister as I am breaking in my new boots.
They fit but aren't the most comfortable.. I'll have to buy me an insert. I am happy with them. The color isn't the greatest but its nice leather and red wing is a good company. I am however not used to the weight of thehuge boot and steel toe so I am kinda doing some strength training.
So far this week hasn't been bad but thats because i take naps between jobs.. the rest of the week I only sleep after working both shifts... And I beleive I have to work Sat now at weathershield so my only day off before christmas is this Sun.
Amanda and I are gonna discuss getting a Desktop PC tonight. And we have to discuss which benifet I am gonna get at WS (Weathershield). There are tons to choose from.
I only get two pad tens and an unpaid 15 but I am not used to taking breaks at Mcdonalds anyway so no big deal...
Amanda picked up the Pamida gift certificates for al's daughters I asked her to. And She is mailing my shoes back for me because i have no time this week, so that is very sweet of her.
I want to see the narnia movie... Though I haven't read it.. only books 1 & 2 of 7.
I haven't shaved for days so my beard is coming in again. McD's wouldn't allow that but its my last week and I don't usualy see the top boss so i am trying to get away with it...
I'm gonna get a bite to eat before amanda calls from on break... I'm hungry
It feels amazing to kick my feet up!!!!
