An awesome weekend off - time with amanda
ok.. Today is my last day off. Today I hear results for the drug test and then I probably discuss my start date at weathersheild.
my weekend was fun...
On Sat after getting home from work I layed down fo bed but I couldn't sleep at all so i stayed up. I ended up getting ready for going to chad's house.
When Amanda and I woke up we went to the bank to cash her check. Then came home packed the car with mostly dog stuff and stopped off to drop off an over due movie at the library before stopping at the gas station and hitting the road.
I couldn't get my fingers between the spokes to get the cap off when I wanted to check the tire pressure so I stopped off at my parents and used my tools there. I need to put some tools in my car...
After chatting with my parents for a bit we left for tomahawk. I enjoyed our stay there, though chad had to watch Jan so we couldn't do just anything. We played sequence because jan wasn't any good at trivia.
maggie was so cute. Amadna wouldn't put her down for anything. She's gotten bigger since I've seen her at the wedding. Lori was gone christmas shopping for the weekend with her mom.
later we stopped at bambinos in tomahawk. its a pizza joint. Never go there! There was no service, the food was ok and the price was outragious for what we got.
After that we stopped at walmart in rhinlander. I was soo tired. At that point I was up for 28 hours.
I felt bad but amanda drove home. I don't like to make her drive if i am there.
It was snowing so we couldn't see the road. I tried to stay awake to keep her company but I kept falling asleep and waking up fo each bump.
We FINALLY got to hawkins and I stopped at my parents for the night. We brought them som BK burgers and doughnuts. We talked a bit before crashing. I woke up and made some coffee. Amanda and I had doughnuts and watched cartoons. When my mom woke up we talked until my dad woke up a couple hours later and then we talked some more. I helped more some heavy things from the shed to the milkhouse before leaving.
We stopped at dollar general in Ladysmith and went home to unload the car.
So yesterday after getting home from my parents we drove to amanda's parents and saw don and rosie (manda's aunt and uncle). we talked and played sequence with her dad while Cheryl made dinner. I ended up falling asleep in the living room chair and passed on dinner. I kinda felt bad about that. She made it I should have forced myself to get up and eat.
Then manda and I left about 8... though it felt much much later. and stopped off at County market for some food.
We made monkey bread and watched "almost famous". I fell asleep in the movie. While making the bread we talked about Tolkien and Lord of the rings. Amanda finds it interesting. She isn't a fan like me but she does like it a bit. She even likes the idea of elvish rings for our wedding (HER IDEA!!!) She says if we get those rings she wants me to teach her Elvish.
Anyway... I had a great time the past two days. I enjoyed the time with amanda the most even though people we always with us...
Amanda is stil sleeping now... So I might wake her up is she's willing.
