Long post about trip
I just woke up. Had a dream about a cop pulling me over with Amanda and abusing my rights.
I was looking around the house which is a TOTAL mess except for Amanda's Art/Plant room.
The door knocks so I slip some pants on over my shorts and slip my shoes on quick. I thought it might be Merl (Amanda's Ex) cause he just got out of jail. So went to the door and it was Cheryl, Amanda's mother. She brought over some Schwans frozen food and we talked for a bit before she left.
The trip to Appleton was great.
On the way down I was tired so I got cranky and I took things the wrong way when Amanda was talking to me. We got into an argument on the way down but as soon as we arrived we made up and felt better.
I should amanda breifly my old childhood home in Menasha and Hart Park which looks different now.
Upon arriving near Brad and KK's I slammed on my breaks because I didn't see a stop sign right away. So I was partally in the intersection. A Cop was right there on the corner watching for speeders in the exact parking lot I was going to. I slowly pulled in and parked about 20 ft. from his car. I could seem in my mirror he was looking my direstion. Then brad comes out and meets me at my door and I tell him what just happened and he's says "Don't worry! I know the guy. He isn't suppossed to park in this lot anyway. He is looking to but people who don't live in this area." At that time the cop crives away. Yes!!!!!
So Amanda and I unpack while she lets the dogs out on leashes after a 4+ hour stay, in the car.
Upon unpacking. We pop up the new pet porter I bought on the way down in Stevens Point.
I can't remember what we all did but shortly later Kayla came home from work and wanted to take us to Chinese so we went after joking around a bit. So we went and they payed. We stopped at a store and I bought a bottle of vodka, amarretto, and irish cream for the next day. Amanda got some ice cream and then we went to rent a video. Non of us had seen Ring 2 so we rented that. it was okay. Later in the evening Kayla and brad seemed upset with eachother and that bothered me but they seems to fix whatever was the problem.
Saturday we woke up and Brad made us pancakes. Amanda and I took another nap. Then we went with Kayla and Brad to a used CD store. I bought like 75 dollars worth on my credit card. We went to Walmart quick. Amanda and I treated Kayla, Brad and Lexie to Subway. Went home, got our costumes on and left to go to Ben and Carley's new house for the Halloween/house-warming party. Lance and Heather were there. Adam, Joe and Joe. Kayla and Brad. Jehna and Keith showed up late. We played Texas hold'em and I took the house. Most of the night was taken up by talking. Later after a few people left I started drinking more with "Drinking War"the card game. I lost. I went to bed dizzy and intoxicated. Amanda and I slept on the fold out couch which was uncomfortable but we survived. The next day Ben and CJ made Pankakes. Jehna and Keith left already.
Brad called me crying. A close friend of his family died so i rushed over to pick up Lex. Amanda and I took lex to the music store and again i bought another 80 dollars worth of used cd's... Too much i know...
The rest of the evening was spent at carleys where we eventually baked a couple papa murphy's pizzias and everybody met again. Amanda and I. Carley and Ben. Kayla and Brad. My neices. Jehna and even Keith showed again. It was so awesome to have all of us there. After leaving I realized that would have been such a PERFECT TIME to have a group photo and I truly regreted not getting it.
I hope jehna and keith start dating again.
