Summary: Slightly alternate scene to when Shilo and Mag meet for the first time. Mag decides to create new memories of someone she wants to be closer to.

She couldn't stop smiling. Her idol, the one and only Blind Mag herself, was right in front of her, and had known her mother! Shilo was more than happy to be pulled close after a few minutes, held safe and secure from the outrageous Largo siblings and their intimidating father. Mag kept looking down, her eyes glowing slightly, and Shilo reached up to touch the superstar's cheek.

"You're a beautiful young woman, Shilo. Why don't you tell me about yourself?" It was a request that Shilo happily gushed on about, mentioning everything from her bug collection to the books she'd read. She actually lost track of the time and their location, being steered away from the crowds by Mag.

"Mag, where are we?" Shilo asked once she realized that there weren't as many people around.

"No place special, Shilo. Just away from so many people. I don't know if I'll be able to see you again, so I wanted to get a few minutes alone. You don't mind, do you?" The girl shook her head, smiling sympathetically. This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for her as well. After today, she would probably never see the outside world again. Best to remember it without a crowd pushing her around.

"I don't mind. You're such a nice person, Mag. I just wish I had something more to remember you by."

Mag smiled, reaching up to undo her hairpiece and let it free. "Here. It might not be much, but you don't have corneas that can record this moment, so it's better than nothing. Also, I'd like to give you this," she whispered, leaning close to kiss Shilo gently on the lips.

Shilo's eyes widened in shock, and after Mag pulled away, her fingers flew to her own lips. Her first kiss, given to her by Blind Mag. It was a memory she knew, from all the dusty romance novels that used to belong to her mother, that she should never forget. Now it was even more precious, and she clung to Mag's arm. "Thank you. I'll never forget, no matter what."

Not particularly proud of the writing style right now, but I've been in a bit of a slump lately. However, I thought the idea was too cute to let go.
