*tries to think of interesting news to tell her flist*
Oooh, I know! Today my clarinet teacher asked me if I wanted to try out for a youth band to play at the Beijing Olympics! :0 It sounds like fun :) And we get to go and tour New Zealand as a practice run! *does little dance* And apparently it's a whole heap cheaper then it would be, too... But there is an audition... and I suck at auditions...
I'm also doing the EMR youth concert at Hamer Hall again this year. The saxophones at my school are doing a foyer item at the interval.
Me: Haha, you have to do a foyer item!
Saxophonists: This music is hard :(
Me: Hahahaha! I get to play better music than you!
Ms Ventura: Emily, the saxophones find the solo part too hard. So now you're playing it. Here. *hands me music*
Me: ... Oh...
Dum de dum. For someone who has decided not to have a career in music, I'm sure doing a lot of it :P
