Long time...
so...
today is my first big long day at school, 9-9 with 2 breaks in between. thinking that i was gonna be all cool i went to my first class had a good time, went to the film building to grab a bagel and then decided it was time to go to my next class: fashion design. I got all the way across campus, up to the classroom and had put my stuff down in an empty seat when i realised that nobody else was in there. after about 5 minutes of wondering what was up and checking my schedule i noticed that it was 12:30, not 1:30 and i was an hour early. i guess that's what happens when you're a good student. so i thought i'd update since i haven't in forever.
starting with the beginning of the 3 week break:
i was overjoyed to get out of school and at the same time have my lo in town to visit me. friday night i went out to the burbs to see her and mom and dad. there are very few people i would risk my life to see, but driving out to see them on that winter night i definately proved they fit into that catagory.
then there was the party on saturday night which i had fun at and i hope other people did too. it wasn't what i expected it to be, but it turned out pretty good anyway.
then i worked all week.
the next weekend my grandma gerry came to town. i love her. we had a good time shopping and just hanging out. on sunday we went to the kennedy exhibit at the field museum. it was nice cause neither of us are really museum type people so i didn't feel bad when i wanted to leave after we looked at the pretty dresses.
then i worked all week.
the last weekend of the 3 week break my mom and sisters came to visit me. i love them. we went to the shedd aquarium on saturday which i had a good time at, suprisingly. then we went to edwardos for lunch. p.s. jess, thanks for the free food. on sunday night my mom cooked this big huge meal and lauren and amanda came over and we all just chilled. later on when i drove them home makenz and dom yelled things at strangers on the street as we drove by. those two are the coolest kids i know hands down.
then i worked all week.
last saturday (as in 4 days ago) was lauren's 21st birthday. i had a really good time with that crazy girl and i'm glad we're friends again. all i can say about that night is liquor impairs your judgement. i'm just saying...;)
now i'm back in school and working like a mad woman. ah, it'll be ok. i found out on monday that i'm officially a senior so the end is in sight. whoo hoo!
