1. My first Athos/D'Artagnan story had finally come unstuck. It had gotten all jammed up during a transition sequence (those always trip me up) the solution finally hit me today and I think it could be clear sailing from here. (Not that I will be uncrossing my fingers and stuff just yet.)
2. I spotted Lee Tergesen in the pilot episode of Forever, that new series starring Ioan Gruffudd. It's a small role, although pivotal. The series looks so-so but I might watch some more once it actually starts. Oh, yes, you can find the episode in Comcast's On Demand fall TV stuff; it isn't actually on yet.
3. I'm enjoying rediscovering Agatha Christie. The first book was earlier this year, Toward Zero, and now I'm reading a Hercule Poirot one, The A.B.C. Murders. The only downside, if it even is one, is that it now impossible to read anything Poirot without picturing David Suchet and the rest of the TV series cast.
