(Slash the title of this entry may be my new catchphrase. Or the name of the blog I'll start eventually. Standby for further updates.)
I decided today that the main difference between indie kids and scene kids is this: indie kids say they're indie, while scene kids deny they're scene. (Anyone found proclaiming themselves scene is more of a poser than actual scene kids. Because if you have to tell people, you're not trying hard enough.)
Also, scene kids complain about how their music has been ruined by the mainstream. The majority of the music an indie kid listens to will never, ever, ever be mainstream, because most radio DJs would probably explode from the prolonged exposure to accordions and keytars.
