Ink and tan
Talked with Katie tonight, about wedding plans and visiting plans and such. I do hope Sarah can officiate. M and I looked at wooden wedding rings, which sound cool in theory but in practice look like salad bowls. There was also discussion of red (not white) dresses and the advisability of going tanning if one is to wear white. Katie says emphatically no. This is why I need a bridesmaid. I am hopeless at girly things.
In other news, I got an alphabet set of stamps from Paxton Gate yesterday, and a new notebook from the stationery store in Japantown on Saturday, and I must say that I'm finding the combination very satisfying. It's pretty rare that I buy things for myself, so I'm happily enjoying these purchases. I'm bummed, though, that the red-color mechanical pencil writes so light. Sigh. The odd dreams in a young proofreader's heart.
