I always wondered why there is no perfume or scent made to smell like the earth after the first rain. I could get lost in that smell forever.

Hmm...I already tried when I was doing my Ph.D. Alas failed. :(

Oh! That's remarkable. What was your Ph.D on?

Oh I had not completed it though. Did a stint for two years and left it. It was in Spectroscopy since my masters was in Inorganic Chemistry, but my lab mate was into organic chemistry so we did a few experiments blending our researches. One was creating a perfume with this scent. :) It was fun just to experiment and enjoy!

Ha! One thing I should say we were not at all a geeky kind of group. We were three girls and had so much fun doing Ph.D. Does anyone say that really? Ha!

They should, ideally - not much point in doing a Ph.D otherwise (unless they only did it due to a lack of options, of course). Good to know you're one of those who enjoyed it.
