October 2007 ........
Man on the move : Jena, Berlin, Bielefeld, Freiburg, Basel, Zurich - I was in 6 cities within 12 days. I can barely keep up with myself sometimes!
I spent less than half of the month in Jena - which, come to think of it, is every other month. It's good to keep moving, in many ways - but living out of a suitcase can get tiring at times.
However, on the whole I was quite glad to have been on the move last month - between the time I left and returned, I got to learn a bit about a new field of research (Epigenetics), meet up with old friends, make some new ones, live in an "Art Hotel", sample the Berlin underground, visit Zurich for the first time, witness "Pujo", see my first German movie without subtitles, and also get some work done.
