(no subject)
sitting in the munich airport. from here I get a bus to salzburg, but I have to wait until 2 to meet them. I have 5 bags. my backpack is filled with way too many books. it might have something to do with the german harry potters I bought. I can't wait to read them.
yesterday was the end of my course. in the afternoon I went to the wannsee (big lake in berlin) with a couple others of the students and went sailing in this old dinghy. it was great. last night met a couple people from the course and went with their hosts to a beer garden. had about a liter's worth of beer. mmm... didn't get a whole lot of sleep, though, seeing as I had to get up at 5.30 to get to the airport. I really didn't need to be up that early. I budgeted way too much time for travel and being at the airport. I had planned on 1.5 hours travelling when it only took me less than an hour door to door. oh well, not a big deal.
guys here like to wear denim capris. not cool. also, there's a whole bunch of american students right near me. meh. I'll go read some deutsch harry potter in a corner.
