so... i might have gone looking for something and started to re-read this from the beginning. i had forgotten how this part ended, and now i'm in tears. because i haven't read anything that sums up my life in the past year, year and a half, so perfectly as this:

I’m single. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned that. And I don’t mind it-I love my life, and my friends, and my work. But once in a while, on a day like this, I wish my house wasn’t empty when I walked through the door. I wish someone was here, and I could just say “I had a bad day”-that’s it, that’s all I want. I don’t want to have to make plans with a friend. I don’t even want to hold up my end of a phone conversation. I just want to say the words, and have someone hear them, someone who’s on my side.

Ooh, I've been meaning to ask when we could expect another chapter of this...

The snow globe museum! I really do want to go to there. And Leslie's multimedia presentation is fantastic.

Looking forward to the next part!

Thank you! Yeah, this section was giving me trouble for a while, but I finally got some momentum on it this week.

So I've had a heck of a bad day myself, but seeing this update made it all just a little bit better.

I’m having a bad day. That’s all, I just wanted to tell you. And to thank you, for being here, even if it’s only on my computer. It makes the room feel a little less empty.

This part hit particularly close to home. It's just beautiful writing. Thank you for that.

Sorry you had a bad day. I've had a few of those myself lately so that may have affected the tone of this chapter. Hope the weekend gets better for you.

And thank you for the wonderful comment. (The second half of this chapter is up now, in case you missed it.)

Read the second half and it was great! I love that you're extending the conflict portion of their relationship, but I can't wait until they start connecting.

(Feeling a bit better this week - hope you are as well.)

So, so, so happy you've updated this! I'll of course leave a review after the second part, but here I just want to say how great it is that to us, the audience, it's obvious who NB and PL are, but that it's not to BW and LK... such fun to read!

Oh, that last line. I've only just discovered this, but what a wonderful appropriation of the movie!
