BUT whatever. Its the middle of December so i'm in the giving mood (damn that christmas spirit!).
Haven't been on FFXI too much lately unfortunately. Staying with a friend right now until i get my ass off the couch and get a job.. which isnt easy to do with the economy how it is >_< Of course the one job that i really thought i had isnt pulling through... Movie theater hasnt called me back like they said they would when my damned background check came in. i'll give it a couple more days before i call them... I feel really bad about being lazy its been over a month now. i just get nervous about calling them back, especially if i feel like they're interested. i just get the feeling that if i bug the hell out of them then they'll get mad and wont hire me ._. (this of course stemming from the childhood memories of me being told "IF YOU KEEP BUGGING ME ABOUT IT ITS JUST NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" by my parents whenever i'd bring things up to them more than once. conditioning ftw!?)
UGH. but not playing too much FFXI has done SOME good i guess. i mean i've gotten back into reading, and thankfully, drawing. I did a hella cool pic of Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunner boys last night while i was half asleep, gonna ink that shit and maybe send it to her >x3 i'm such a giddy schoolgirl about that series. a Friend on FFXI introduced me to the series, and after a month or so of mulling it over, i bought the series and was instantly hooked. you KNOW you're addicted when you're an avid gamer and you refuse to play the new Kingdom Hearts that just came out so you can finish the book series you just got into XD ...god i'm never gonna finish CoM, that shit's so weird. i just feel like "wow, i've played this before, maybe it was when it was ORIGINALLY released for the GBA! hmmmm!" and then i just get turned off. I got the part with Vexen, where you see the first hint of evil Riku and then i never went back ._. .....i WILL eventually but.. meh.
Also, read Beedle the Bard. it was.. interesting? i dunno. Didn't JKR say she was writing new books in the HP series? i remember reading that they were of a more mature reading level, not for children!, and that they were about the adult lives (not porno, just adulthood in general... lol) of the HP kids. i dunno i saw it on the news.... so.. *crosses fingers*
OMG XD i almost shat yesterday! i was in Target and went through the candy and a shiny box caught my eye.. i looked up and, lo and behold, it was a set of Star Trek PEZ despensors! The ORIGINAL Star Trek with Spok and Bones XDDD omg i was so excited. i felt like i was holding the Golden Ticket in my hands. VERY cool! it was 15 bucks, which, if i HAD 15 bucks i woulda bought that shit in a heartbeat. as it is though i dont have but 13 dollars to my name. PERIOD. how sad is that? i'm hoping to hell i have a job by Christmas. i said if i didnt have one by then i'd look into being a C & A... which says a lot coming from me. i have a very strange, very deep rooted fear of old people. and the place i'd be working at around here, is the same place my Grandpa goes to ><;; i REFUSE to wipe my own grandpa's ass for a living i just cant do it. ....gawd.
Anyway, before i write a damned light novel here... that's it for today. i want to try and get back into writing here, so hopefully the next time i post wont be a few months (or even years!) away XD
