To finish an unfinished piece...

I wish I could stand by the sea,
And hear her gentle waves...
Im sure that if she spoke with me,
It would be in a whisper,
With the truth of all her days.

And the words would fall softly on my ears,
And tell me how to behold,
The secrets and the crashing cheers,
Of a sub-aquarian treasure:
A woman's heart of gold.

The salty breeze would carry me,
To a mountain made of jewel.
A great palace beneath the sea,
To protect the heart,
Of a goddess, named "Beautiful".

Ushered by waves to the palace gates,
And to a lock I could not pick.
I felt the currents begin to say,
Follow your heart,
And a little honesty should do the trick.

I mustered up all my strength,
Until I felt my soul,
My heart was being held by weights,
The masses of my fear...
I found how to let it go.

'Twas then an honest word rung out,
and a key that fit the hole.............

But then the sea began to shout
"Is this what you really want?
This woman's heart of gold?

Just for a moment think of this,
Is this really what you desire?
Cause in the clouds if ride by wind,
You just might find,
A lover's eyes of fire."

A heart of gold won't keep me warm,
It's luster won't light my dark,
A heart of gold has only shone,
During the sunny days,
When I needn't any spark.

So I took the key of honesty,
And flew up to the stars,
I rode the wind above the sea,
To look, for a palace great,
And a lover's eyes of fire.
