I fear that I may not have a soul.
I went and saw Inception. It was pretty good, entertaining tosh, some lovely SFX and nice dialogue (though not massive character growth/exploration). Plenty of explosions. Watching it in no way made me question reality though.
Then I went to go and see Scott Pilgrim. Again found it pretty good fun, liked the style over substance of it, some nice lines and some lovely effects (even if there were occasional moments where I was expecting Simon Pegg). There were only two characters who I actually liked in it, and one of those I felt incredibly sorry for (on so many levels). Poor Knives.
So - two films which have people raving. I thought both were fairly good but nothing more (and the more I think about it the more I actively dislike the main protagonists from Scott Pilgrim as people/characters).
Should I look down the back of the sofa for my soul? It's possible that the fab that is Fallout 3 has made me drop it somewhere and not realise due to 1920/30's post apocalyptic goodness...
