Ramblings of a teenage art student
Seriously, I hate giving these things titles! D: Please can someone write a book with witty lines to use instead of relying on song lyrics or crap like this?!
Well, Uni is going ok I suppose. It was quite a shock to my system with what they were asking for us to do at first. And it still is in a way. Sometimes I really don't think I'm suited for this course. I'm really only here for the drawing, but they're asking us to do all this really creative stuff and I have no idea how to go about it...
Today was particularly embarrassing! We started our animation intriduction, and by the end of 3 days were meant to have made a 10 second clip of someone walking. It's going to have a background (ugh) and they ave to walk in an interesting way. So naturally I designed my character after me since I think my walk (of tripping over my feet and practically everything else I can find) was quite an interesting one. Except everyone else had designed aliens and fantasy creatures with really random walks. Which we then had to demonstrate to the class. Which would have been ok, well, maybe not ok since I hate doing stuff in front of other people, but my walk was tripping over my own feet. So you can imagine what happened! I'm still thankful that I didn't fall flat on my face!
Summit has been really kind to us this/last week, so that more than made up for my huge failure as a student, but now I'm waiting for more new images. Curse you Summit, you teases! *Shakes fist*
I managed to get away with doing a bit of fanart before my work started picking up, so I'll post that here too, just to flesh this journal out a bit. Can't have limp journals now, can we?

All of these came out of nowhere, so I'm pretty happy with most of them, except the last one XP Realism off the top of my head isn't my strong suit! But on the upside, I drew this because I was tired of being teased by my journal header, then not one week after I've drawn it, Summit posted the new Twilight trailer, and there it was! And it looks WAY better than my version! :D

London Expo is soon! Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October! My Alice Cullen costume is practically done. I was going to make her movie necklace, but I don't know where I can buy any ribbon in Kingston - there are NO material shops! D: My Uruki/Limdo/Rimudo costume is 90% done too, just need to steal my wig back from my brother who keeps putting it on to do rockstar impressions XP
There should be another update from me by then, but if not, I'm sure you can cope without for a while!
Lastly, R.I.P Bella. She was too lovely for her own good, and she will be missed. So sorry Alice *more hugs*
