London Expo May 2008
Well, it's not everyday that you can say you got on the same train as Sephiroth and Captain Jack Sparrow, is it?! XP
Expo was amazing as usual, and this year we had a semi-formed cosplay group which made it even better - the theme was Pokemon gender bender, so myself, Yolanda and Ellie were cosplaying Ash, Tracey and Brock, but the female versions! I admit, that one was my idea, but it seemed like a really cool idea after I saw this picture:
I can't remember the name of cosplayer (I'm always saving images to my computer without the names of who did them - it's a really bad habit of mine!), but it just seemed like an awesome idea.
It seemed like I was the only one who got recognised though >.< That and an anti-social Link from Legend of Zelda started insulting my Pikachu not 2 minutes after we arrived! So I ended up bitchslapping him with my plushie XP He completely put me off Zelda now, hmph...
My first-time-cosplaying friend Laurence decided to go as L from Deathnote this year, as he'd just finished the manga, and as a last minute costume it is really easy to make! But, as we discovered walking around the Expo, it turns out at least 20 other people had the same idea! There were hundreds of L's walking around everywhere! XP

I didn't get to meet them, but I did see Danny John Jules, the awesome Kat from Red Dwarf (I <3 this show) and Julie Benz who played Darla from Buffy/Angel, another of my favourite programmes. And she sounded just as squeaky in real life! :D
I caught sight of Papercutperfect from DA who is a seriously talented Cloud cosplayer who was wandering around with her one winged Zack:

After wandering around for a while our group sat down in front of this huge pink bus for an online game called 'Audition', and started playing catch with the pokeballs that I made :D I think someone may have caught a photo of us doing this, but I haven't found any evidence of it yet. But when I do - it's going up here! ;P
Also, while I was scouring the photo stands for any evidence of Robert Pattinson's existance (which I did!) apparently Niall stole my hat and was considering laughing manically behind one of the Power Rangers and then shoving it on his head. But he resisted after he thought I may not get it back!:
