On Vox: Little bit of this, little be of that

This was supposed to be a post about being a weird fangirl some good news that happened over the weekend, kind of. Instead, it's something else completely useless! To start things out, brother came over with an Xbox360... Being how I'm always in a half awake state all I could say was "Huh? Oh. Ok." and go on about the rest of the night reading and playing games on MSN. Following day, we went to Best Buy to get some crap about connecting a computer to a surround system. You'd think with all the crap I'm around all day, I'd know how to get sound to come out a bunch of speakers. Anyway, brother was mass comtemplating about what he was going to buy. At first he had an Xbox Live, because he doesn't listen when I told him silver was free, upgrading to gold would cost money. After debating with himself, he put the box back, and picked up Icon. In the end, he put Icon back, and bought some stupid movie called Epic Movie. In addition to his purchase, I picked up Dead or Alive 4, for my love of fighters, Hayabusa, and picturing opponents as people I'd like to inflict pain on.

Instead of starting out with Hayabusa, I picked, the girl*, Eliot. He's pretty much a straight forward character and doesn't need any fancy button combos. He also reminds me of Tegoshi, someone cuddly that I'd want to protect from being touched. Thinking back on that thought, DoA and JE is a weird combination. Moving on, after completing Eliot's story, I decided to get in some practice in Sparring Mode. It wasn't long before my brother walked in and demanded that I fight him. Before I could get my response out, we were already at the character selection. I chose Eliot and he picked Ayane. His logic was that he could beat me based on what the computer could do. Sadly, I lost to him one round that time, after that it was all downhill for him. Score at the time was 5-1, I was sitting back with a grin on my face. He changed to Jann Lee, character I despise. D: In the end, the score was 10-2, he was a little mad then went on to what he was doing earlier.

* Dad called Eliot a girl, even though he has a drastically flat chest.

What this post really was about was Kusano and Uchi. I'm as happy as the next person, but I still can't bring myself to type in all CAPS... unless it's an IM to an unexpecting person that has no idea of what I'm spazzing over. Future reference: When I grow up, I want to be Kusano's hair. Hanakimi ep 2, is up on BT on Tokyotosho! :D Creepy Guy, yay!
