Thank you everyone for your thoughts last night! I did eventually find a PB, after a few hours of trawling about PB_updates yesterday as Noodles suggested. Beck's suggestion of Pete Doherty was actually not too far off in many ways, but I needed someone who embodied IF YOU RUIN MY VERY CAREFULLY ARRANGED HAIRSTYLE I WILL SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE NOW HOW 'BOUT WE SIT DOWN FOR SOME FOIE GRAS AND A NICE GLASS OF MELBAC.
So in the end, I compromised my principles a little and ended up with a fairly pretty PB but using only profile shots of him from one side of his face >.>. He's supposed to be fairly good looking anyway, just with this one little unexpected facial characteristic, and I think Maddie had a good point about needing to have the feel of the character above all.
AND THEN I UNEXPECTEDLY TRIPPED AND SUBMITTED AN APP FOR HIM AT C&C. IDEK. I'm on spring break (in the middle of winter MY SCHOOL IS WEIRD). Crazy things happen.
