Man! I have been really boring these last few months. I blame the fact that me and the English language and writing full sentences seem to have kind of broken up a little these past weeks. But here are some neat things I will be doing between now and when school starts again.
1) Actually finishing my memo for my summer job. Everyone, including the people who I live with, seem to keep forgetting that I am actually working this summer and while it might not be a paying job, I do have a memo to put out on a kind of interesting project and a presentation to put together for early September. It's legal work! On a really interesting question! Which could some day actually have a practical affect on life in my city for some people. I am seriously so certain and happy with the work-path I've taken. It's awesome.
2) On Thursday, I am going to a 1930s carnivale. There's one set up in a park about a half hour away from where I live. With legit 1930s carnival games and a freak show and a circus. Apparently the guy who started it spent, like, a year tracking down era-appropriate wooden tent poles just for the sake of authenticity. So that should be interesting.
3) On September 2nd, I am going to learn how to dine like a snob. I am taking this one day course in "Dining, Networking, and Cocktail Party Etiquette" from some people who usually teach ambassadors how to behave. Why? you might ask. The short answer is LOL. The longer answer is BECAUSE I HAVE CRIPPLING SOCIAL ANXIETY, OKAY?
And that's me! For the moment! /goes back to playing flash games
blah blah life blah
