Petty Thief: Aelia's Sundress Textures on the Original Meshes
I did it again. I saw someone's WCIF for a sundress that was HP's adult sundress with the open boots on it. It turns out it was part of Aelia's set from here. However, I don't like those open boots. Actually, it's funny...there are basically two mesh feet I absolutely don't use/like--sexy feet and the open boots. Love stompy boots, chucks, wedges, etc.
I decided it couldn't possibly take that long to paste the textures I like back onto the mesh that HP did. And I wasn't wrong!
So what we have here is the 25 grunge textures that Aelia did back on the mesh. (Which, if you are unfamiliar, comes with both preg and fat morphs.)
The shoes are wedge cut flip-flips (great for your poor little pregnant simmies), and I tried to coordinate them without making every single shoe unique. Several of the blue textures have blue shoes, several have brown, etc. Though sometimes I had to compromise and just make a slightly matchy-matchy shoe. XP
That was the easy, lazy, barely do-any-work part of my post. Then, I thought to myself, "I hardly ever see any recolors of the little girl Seasons dress that the original HP mesh was based off of..."
Yes. We have the same 25 textures used in dresses for your kidlets. However, this mesh is mapped completely differently. Plus, it's accessorized a bit. So, since I was doing a bunch of work anyway, I was a little more creative in how I put the dresses together.
There are, of course, several dresses that are just the full patterns. Some of the sleeves are the dress texture, some are just textured coordinating colors...
Some are solid bodice/sleeves above a patterned skirt...
And Demeter's here next to her once again pregnant mother Gigi (not aged down for obvious reasons) to show that her dress has patterned bodice and skirt, but not sleeves. Anyway, there's a myriad of combinations, feel free to delete something if it doesn't work for you.
Here's the kids' shoes. You may note that I use HP's fixed alpha of these sundresses...the fix generates a second texture for the flowers themselves. I just made them all plain daisies here. This also seemed to make the dress files a little on the large side. ~500K a pop. Another reason to perhaps only keep your favorites. It's up to you.
Here's Aelia's original swatch. I did all of the textures for both sets, and they are named identically to hers--one exception. The red dress in the second to last row in the second column had a filename with blue in it...it's renamed to RedWhiteFlowers, red with white flowers.

Credit goes mostly to HP and Aelia. I suppose I can take a little for myself for the girls' set. Since my set is derivative, I wouldn't recommend using the textures as a base for anything, but to go to the source for them. Not that I'd mind, I just don't know if it'd look as nice.
