Awhile back, I picked my favorites in various categories for ~legacy awards~. After the last Laurince update, I asked readers of the Laurince legacy to pick their favorites for some awards I've uncreatively dubbed THE LAURINCEYS.
So, now, for the results!
Favorite Heir
This vote wasn't particularly close, though nearly every heir got some love.
Oh, Grace...between failing at Romance, excelling at having tons of children, and having a terribly stalking husband, you pretty much did everything one could want from an heir.
Favorite Spouse
By a LANDSLIDE...
Normally, you could say Eliza had an unfair advantage of being known to the readers since birth, but come on. She really earned this one by changing my heir choice and most people's idea of what sort of family structures were even possible in this game! (Plus, she was a bitch!)
Spares
I didn't think it quite fair (or even possible) to vote on all of them at once, so we're breaking it down by generation.
Best Generation 2 Spare
Brynne. Bryce was a close second (and my fave), but I can see where this comes from. Brynne's like the underdog. She only existed because I installed Uni and suddenly Aysta had a want involving six children.

Baye and Roy's kids get no love. (I kid, there were some votes, but not enough.) I guess it's because they were kinda funny looking?

Though she was gorgeous, had a fun personality, and was my first blonde Laurince, her resemblence to her mother and repeat Aspiration meant that Deirdre had no chance at being heir. It did make her the best spare.
Best Generation 5 Spare
Elim was hot and hilarious. Unfortunately, I was having trouble deciding heir that generation, and the results and reasoning of the heir poll gave me my decision. Sometimes it's really that simple. (I promise I will remember to upload him! I know he was requested awhile ago!)
Best Generation 6 Spare
Abby! Proving that, even if you're a funny-looking late baby that doesn't even get a theme name, you can beat out your ridiculously gorgeous half-sisters for recognition if you are entertaining and get knocked up by a hot descendent!
Best Generation 7 Spare
By one vote. (Geordi came oh so close.) Gorgeous, with an interesting sense of style, I certainly loved Gloria, too.
Best Generation 8 Spare
Thrown out of heir contention when I decided that I not only wouldn't play 10 sims through Uni, I wouldn't play 6, because she was a package deal with her twin AND virtually identical to sister Hannah...she stayed in our hearts and minds almost forever by being a Uni placeholder through several generations. Her delusions and scheming about becoming heir will be remembered almost as much as her hatred for Hester (and me).
So, I graduated last update. I'm moving back home now, right?!
(Hazel wasn't too far behind. Gorgeous and too smart for her (step)father's good!)

Isis. It's only fair, she was going to be a double heir until Iris had to go and have TRIPLETS.
