Laurince Legacy, Generation 19.5!
For those who have forgotten in the passing of time, this is also technically Generation 11 of the Randolphs!
I'm sure my roll will slow a bit at some point (this update was started slightly before I disappeared, though I played most of it recently), but the Laurince/Randolph household will not be forgotten either~
Last time, Triton became permaplat through simply being fulfilled. Silenus had some terrible luck in the random matchmaking department. September aged up to teen with an aspiration of Fortune/Pleasure. Sean became a child, and continued to be awkward and pale. Evangelina and Quistis passed on the same day, leaving Quimby as the sole Gen 17 household member. This also happened in the middle of September's date with sparespare Hardy Cooper. Samson became a toddler, and I upped the timeline on all the Gen 19 kids a bit. Quimby became a plantsim outta nowhere, from his first spraying on a row of plants I didn't think would get bugs. Raine immediately decided this was a life choice she wanted to emulate.
Styx became a teen, rolling Knowledge/Pleasure. Silenus went off to Uni. I juiced Raine and Triton because this generation is so. fucking. long. Styx met a cute boy with a bitchin' fro. Then, Quimby passed. :( Just in time for Samson to grow up badly into a child, though he immediately made himself well-adjusted. All the kids got upped another day. Raine made it back to the top of the dance career. Sean became a teen, rolling Family/Popularity, and continues to be pale and awkward. September and Styx busked for tips during his birthday party, then September went off to Uni with every scholarship except pool, abduction, and dead parents.
Then I installed Pets, played like a day of the Laurinces, and fucked off for three years. You know, as one does...
I tested pets a bit with sparespare/former frat placeholder Farrah Zadok, then I gave the main house a sim recreation of my favorite late kitty, Midnight.
Here he is in all his dumb-faced, idiotic glory.
Midnight was well known for forgetting where his litter pan was, waiting for me outside my bedroom door while I was out of the house for months living two states away from college, not being allowed outside because he'd jump off the deck, being so scared of the rain he'd run and hide under a neighbor's downspout as rain poured down on his head, being afraid of stuffed animals, and possibly hunger-striking himself to death because replacing the living room furniture broke his brain.

Back on the cat training front, we're trying something realistic.

Winter is on, so the plant sim quest is on hold, but Raine's other locked want was to max out her Nature hobby, so she got to blog until she ~glowed~.
Why yes, the house with Triton, Raine, Sean, Samson, and a cat was just as boring as it looks here. Babby steps for getting back into playing, but hardmode for caring about it!
Samson comes home for work, and I try to get him a blind date so I can send him and Sean off to Uni with a clear conscious. I don't think the matchmaker was too happy about having to conduct business in a shrubbery.

Sean's off to Uni. He got like two skill scholarships, but he won the Tsang footwork one, of course!

First off, Ron's here because why the hell not. The...family relationship here is a little crazy, you might need to reread the last generation of updates or so to have it make much sense, but he's essentially simultaneously Gen 19's great uncle and a what-if offshoot Gen 18 member. Hence the R name.
Sadie Laurince! She's mostly Triton with Raine's lips. Probably the only hope for any XD eyes to survive the merge...
...because her twin, Saul Laurince II basically has his father's face. Sorry, sweetie.
Silenus Laurince is a bit of an opposite situation to Sadie, I think he's mostly Raine (the eyes look a lot different between genders) with Triton's mouth.
September Laurince is still a huge overachieving cutie, but got a bit of a longer face...I think Triton's face shape plus most of Raine's features.
Styx Laurince!!! I'm already slightly regretting giving her smaller hair, but she is so adorable! I think she's a great blend of her parents.
Look at Sean Laurince! I finally gave him some light brown hair and he looks so much better! I think some of the awkward is due to that strange male!Evangelina eyeshape he got through Raine, Triton's cheekbones and small lips, and that super-pale skintone with his blonde hair. At least I can understand a bit now how he could be a ladykiller?
I think Samson Laurince, as well as Styx, was the winner of the genetic lottery, though. Recessive hair from Triton (Raine had to be the one carrying the blonde, I think), Raine's eyes and face with Triton's nose and lips. And that glorious hair~~~
I think it'll either be Styx or Samson, with Sadie or September as a long shot, however...
...I think the game's got a little bit of Samson favoritism going already.
